A couple of weeks back, this message popped up in my Facebook feed. One of my friends had written it on the wall of her partner.
Along with it was a link to the page of UNIQLO’s pop-up store. My curiosity was lit. Sure, I’m sure she’d still come home to her partner and cat (that cat is gosh darn cute after all) eventually, but whatever was it that was just so great? Bunches of comments agreeing with this statement popped up and I felt a bit lost. How long had I missed out on something that apparently was so loved by so many awesome people?
You might already be a converted UNIQLO fan. In that case, sorry for the rant on to business details! Because this fall the Japanese retail chain UNIQLO is opening their first Australian store, right here on Lonsdale Street in Melbourne. But fret not, you don’t have to wait that long to start shopping UNIQLO fashion. A pop-up shop has opened its doors on Swanston street and will keep them open all the way to the end of March. That means plenty of time to still your need of affordable Japanese basics for now.
Keep a look out on the site and the shop, because new ranges by different designers are brought in every now and then. Me, as the Swede I am, am impatiently waiting for February 17th, when a bunch of T-shirts using prints from 10-gruppen (Ten Swedish Designers) are released. Um, yeah, I might be getting them all.
