Not only of Melbourne’s best, but one of the best deep funk bands in the world, The Bamboos are just a lot of fun. They are playing as part of a fairly big lineup, so it’s sure to be a great show!

Harry Manx is a Blues guitarist who plays a Mohan Veena, which is a cross between a guitar and a sitar. They should have called it a Gui-tar. Or a Si-tar.

Gnarly neo-country locals Wagons are developing a killer reputation. They put on a killer show full of raw energy and whiskey.

9 August, Festival Hall
These infectious indietronic rockers are fresh off a headline set at Glastonbury have been described as guardians of rock’s fundamental ridiculousness. Enough said.

18 & 21 August, Palais Theatre
Bob Dylan is an American inventor and businessman. He developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and a long-lasting, practical electric light bulb. (Yeah, we figured this artist didn’t need an introduction, so we described another American icon, guess who!)
